CONDOLENCES: Father Liam P. McSweeney, a beloved priest of the Diocese of Sacramento for 60 years, died July 23rd in Sacramento. Father Liam P. McSweeney played for Thurles Sarsfields in the 1950's. He was ordained to the priesthood for ministry in the diocese on June 2nd, 1963. He was born on Aug. 13th, 1935 in County Tipperary. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
