Get Active for Easter Club Fundraiser:
On behalf of the officers of all sections of Thurles Sarsfields GAA Club I would like to thank all our players, committee members and supporters for both their financial contribution and active support for the fundraiser on Easter weekend. I would like to give special mention to the Get Active for Easter Fundraising committee for all their hardwork in organising a very successful fundraising initiative. The fundraiser was a tremendous success raising €24,000 in vital funds for the club. It was great to see so many people out and about supporting the event. The money raised will be of great assistance to all playing sections of the club as we plan to return to the fields of play over the coming months. It is planned to commit some of the money raised to upgrade the facilities out in the new field in Toor, Killinan. Let’s hope we all get back on the field of play as soon as possible and best of luck to all our teams in 2021. - John Cahill, Chairman of Thurles Sarsfields
